FAQs

Your Kärcher Wet & Dry Vacuum may switch itself off due to the waste container being full. You should empty the container straight away and ensure the filter is not blocked.

If the cleaning power of the appliance deteriorates we recommend checking the following:

The accessories, suction hose or suction tubes are not clogged. If so, remove the obstruction using a stick or long object.

If the filter bag is full, remove and install a new one.

Ensure the cartridge filter is clean, by knocking off any dirt from the cartridge and rinsing under running water if necessary. If the filter is damaged, then this should be replaced. (Search Argos code 616/6742 for a replacement cartridge filter)

The Kärcher Multi-Purpose Vac range should be used with a filter bag when dry vacuuming, this will protect and prolong the life of the filter. This will prevent the filter from becoming clogged with dust, lengthening its life. It also makes emptying the machine after use much easier. The filter bags do not need to be used when wet vacuuming. (Search Argos code 198/3968 for WD2 replacement bags)

When replacing a filter bag on a KärcherWD2 Wet and Dry vacuum: 1. Place the filter bag so that the round egde of the bag is alighned with the wall of the collection tank. 2. Hook the bag in place over the two hooks. 3. Ensure the top of the machine is secured back in place, so that the inlet meets the circular opening of the fitler bag.

The filter on your Kärcher Wet & Dry Vacuum should be left on whilst being used for liquids. Once finished please:

1. Rinse under a tap to ensure that it is completely free on ay debris or wet sludge.

2. Ensure the filter is completely dry before re-attaching.
