No, your GO! will count steps during your daily activities as long as it is not in sleep mode. Exercise mode is best used for exercising such as running or walking.
a. Check to see if your GO! is on Sleep Mode. You can do this by pressing S1 button. If you see next to the time your GO! is in sleep mode. If your GO! is on sleep mode it will not count your steps. You can turn off your Sleep Mode by pressing the S2 button from the OFF screen until SLEEP is on the display. Next press and hold S2 and wait until "HOLD STOP stops blinking and release the button to stop your sleep activity. ¯‚»‚¿ b. If your GO! is not in Sleep Mode and is still not counting your steps please try resetting your GO!(Note: this will cause you to lose your information stored on your GO!) You can do this by holding down S1 and S2 simultaneously for 5-6 seconds until you see RESET on the display and then let go. Please re-setup your GO! and check the step counter.
It is not recommended to shower in your GO! If your GO! does come in contact with water/sweat we recommend wiping it down after to keep the GO! in good condition.
Your GO! receives the weather through your Yahoo! on your phone. While you do not need to have the Yahoo! App you do need to make sure your phone has internet capabilities. If you have your phone set to only access the internet when connected to WIFI then the weather on your GO! will only update when you are connected to WIFI. Please check the settings on your phone. The weather is not a live stream there for it will only update each time you SYNC your Go! to your phone.
a. If you have your message application open on your phone it will assume that you are viewing your messages on your phone and not push them to your GO! b. Check your setting on your GO! app under "PHONE ALERT set your start and end times for when you would like your GO! to alert you of incoming messages and calls. For example: if your start time is 10:00 am and your end time is 5:00pm then you will only receive alerts on your GO! from 10:00 to 5:00pm. Remember to press DONE after updating your settings to change them on your GO!
