If the pole saw will not turn on, check the following:

  • Ensure the battery is fully charged before using the pole saw.
  • Ensure the battery is correctly installed (check the instruction manual for this procedure).
  • Check that the chain is not obstructed.
  • The saw uses an auto‑oiling system, so there may be minor oil seepage.
  • Check that the  the oil reservoir cap is tight. 
  • Store the saw in an upright position using the integrated hanging hook.
  • The chain brake may have engaged. Reset the brake, then try again (check the instruction manual for this procedure).
