  • You may have pressed the power-on button (unintentionally) before you plugged in the appliance. 
  • When you press the power-on button before you put the plug in the wall socket, the steriliser starts operating immediately when you plug it in.

Warning: The appliance becomes extremely hot during sterilisation and may cause burns if it is touched. Therefore always check if the sterilising light lights up. This is an indication that the appliance is already operating.

Hard water causes limescale build up which may cause your product to fail. Here are the most common symptoms of limescale: - leaking - brown water - white particles and residue inside the product. Regular descaling prolongs live of your product ensure you are performing it at least every 4 weeks.

We recommend that you continue to sterilize bottles, toddler plates etc. until your child is one year old.

Do not sterilize: Items that are filled with liquid e.g. a teether with cooling fluid Parts with electronic components e.g. Motor parts of the electrical breast pump or toys Metal items, e.g. bottle brush Plastic parts which are not suitable for the use in microwave (check the item or its packaging label) Only place items in the sterilizer which are suitable for sterilizing.

Contents stay sterile inside the appliance for up to 24 hours if the lid is unopened.
