FAQs

The E90scooter requires a push start. The motor will not engage from a standing still position. Turn the power on. Push the scooter with your foot. Make sure to get a good roll going (about 3 mph). Press the throttle. The motor will now engage.

  • Unit must be moving up to 3mph for the motor to engage 
  • Kickstart unit up to 3mph while pressing throttle to engage motor. Check Loose connection(s)/damaged wire(s) 
  • Check for loose connections underneath the deck plate and for any damage to the Brake and/or Throttle Cables. Low Battery
  • Charge unit for 12 hrs before first initial use Old/Damaged Battery 
  • With no weight on the unit, lift up back end; manually (and carefully) spin rear wheel and press push button throttle to engage the motor. If motor engages 
  • Replace Battery If motor does not engage 
  • Replace Brake and Throttle

Charger not working:

  • Check power to wall outlet and/or try a different outlet. Check lights on charger: Plugged into wall = Green, Plugged into wall & unit = Red, Charging Complete = Green, No lights/Blinking lights = Replace charger 

Battery no longer holds charge 

  • With no weight on the unit, lift up back end; manually (and carefully) spin rear wheel and press throttle to engage the motor. If Motor engages Replace Battery

Note:

  • Normal continous ride time is 30 to 45 minutes Over recommended rider weight 
  • Do not exceed maximum weight limit. Bad riding conditions 
  • Use only on flat, dry surfaces. Avoid inclines and areas with heavy debris. Battery not fully charged 
  • Charge unit for up to 12 hrs. (even if light on charger turns green) Old/Damaged Battery 
  • Replace Battery Improper Battery maintenance 
  • Refer to Pg. 3 in the Owners Manual 'Charging the battery'
  • Dirt/Debris in or around chain - Remove any dirt/debris in or around chain
  • Rear Sprocket is bent - Replace Rear
  • Wheel Motor Sprocket is bent - Replace Motor
  • Chain tensioner broken - Replace Chain Tensioner
