To resolve this issue, please try the following: 

  1. Connect the system to AC power. If the system is disconnected from AC power and unused for 14 days or more, the system enters a protection mode to preserve battery power. This is typically the case with brand new systems just being removed from the box. It is then necessary to connect the unit to AC power to reactivate the system. 
  2. The battery may not be sufficiently charged. The battery must have some charge in order for it to power up the system.

Try the following to resolve your issue: 

  1. Reduce the volume level on the Aux device. 
  2. Make sure the 3.5 mm plug is fully inserted into the speaker. 
  3. The issue could be related to the audio cable. Try a new cable. 
  4. The issue could be with the Aux device. Try another audio device.

To resolve this issue, try the following: 

  1. Make sure your device is connected to the speaker. 
  2. Make sure the transport controls of the audio device are set to playback audio. 
  3. Make sure the speaker is not muted and the volume is up. 
  4. Make sure your Bluetooth device is playing audio, and the volume is up. 
  5. Turn off or disable Bluetooth on all other paired devices nearby (including Bose preferred devices) and reconnect the device you want to hear. 
  6. Turn the speaker off and back on.

To resolve this issue, please try the following: 

  1. Make sure your device is connected to the speaker. 
  2. Make sure the speaker is not muted and the volume is up. 
  3. Make sure your Bluetooth device is playing audio, and the volume is up. 
  4. Your Bluetooth device may be out of range. Try moving it closer to the speaker. 
  5. Move your Bluetooth device and/or the speaker away from other devices that generate electromagnetic interference. Examples are cordless phones, microwave ovens, wireless network routers or other Bluetooth devices. 
  6. If possible, turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth functionality. 
  7. Turn the speaker off and back on.

Please try the following to resolve your issue: 

  1. Make sure your system is connected to a working AC (mains) outlet. 
  2. Make sure you are using the Bose power supply that was delivered with your speaker, or a Bose accessory charger. 
  3. If you are using a surge protector, try plugging directly into a working wall outlet.

A factory reset clears paired mobile devices and language settings from the speaker and returns it to original factory settings. 

  1. Turn the speaker on. 
  2. Press and hold the power button for ten seconds. the speaker will turn off.

After selecting your language, the speaker is ready to pair with your mobile device. 

  1. On your mobile device, turn on the Bluetooth feature. The Bluetooth feature is usually found in "Settings". A gear icon often represents Settings on the Home screen. 
  2. Select "Bose Mini II SoundLink" from your device list. The Bluetooth indicator glows solid white and you hear “Connected to [device name]”.
