FAQs

We do not recommend using a microwave to warm up baby's food or drinks. Microwaves might alter the quality of food/drinks and destroy some valuable nutrients. Furthermore, microwaves do not heat evenly and they might leave "hot spots" that would not be noticeable to you but that could burn your baby.
  • The bottles and teats are dishwasher safe. Please place the small parts on the top rack of the dishwasher.
  • When washing teats with your hands, use only your fingers and warm soapy water. Avoid washcloths, sponges and bottle/teats brushes with bristles that may tear the silicone.
  • The bottles and teats can be sterilised using a Philips AVENT electric or microwave steam steriliser or boil for 5 minutes. The bottles should be fully disassembled when put in the steriliser.

Note: There is no need to turn the teat inside out during washing and sterilising.

Note 2: Food colourings may discolour the bottle parts. This does not affect their quality.

The bottle may leak for more than one reason. Following the guidelines below will help to avoid a leak:

  • Check if the parts are correctly assembled and combined.
    • Note: use always adapter ring with classic bottle.
  • Check the dormal has not been too lose screwed on the bottle.
  • Check if you are using the teat with the correct flow for your baby.
  • Use the cap and check if it is placed correctly when shaking the bottle to prepare food.
