FAQs

There may be a loose connection in the scooter. We recommend unscrewing the screws on top of the footplate and pushing together the plastic connecters which connect the wires, to ensure that a connection is established.

If this doesn’t work, please contact the Zinc helpline on 0800 731 0006 or info@hy-pro.co.uk

If the charger light shows green when the scooter is not fully charged then please continue to charge the scooter for the recommended amount of time.

Ensure that you are using your scooter only on solid, flat, clean and dry surfaces such as pavement or level ground.

Also ensure that the scooter is not overloaded by exceeding the maximum weight limit of 50kg, riding up a hill or towing objects behind the scooter.

If the scooter continues to run sluggishly please contact the Zinc helpline on 0800 731 0006 or info@hy-pro.co.uk

You may have a tripped circuit breaker. We recommend unscrewing the screws on top of the footplate and pushing together the plastic connecters which connect the wires, to ensure that a connection is established.

The scooter may have also been overloaded, ensure that you are using your scooter only on solid, flat, clean and dry surfaces such as pavement or level ground.

This may be because you have an undercharged battery. A new battery should be charged for at least 12 hours for the first time and at least 5 hours after each subsequent use.

It may also be due to a loose connection, make sure that all connections inside the scooter are established.

The battery in your scooter may also be old. Average battery life is 1 to 2 years depending on scooter use and conditions. Replace only with a Zinc replacement battery from http://www.zincsports.com/
