FAQs

The FC 5 doesn’t have an adjustable handle. The FC 5 will arrive in 2 parts which are connected by a cable. Simply fit these 2 parts together and the unit will be fully assembled and at the correct height.

60 ̊C is the maximum water temperature that can be used in the FC5.

There are 3 ways to clean the rollers. Cleaning the rollers using the base station: 1. Make sure that you empty the dirty water from the machine before beginning cleaning. 2. Place the FC5 into the base, pour 100ml of water into either side of the unit, and turn it on for 30 - 60 seconds to rinse through the rollers as well as any dirt which is left with the machine. (you can then remove the rollers and leave them to dry. This prevents the rollers from smelling). Rinsing under a Tap: 1. Remove the rollers by twisting them off. 2. Run them under a warm tap using your hands to agitate the dirt out of the rollers. 3. Leave the rollers to dry before putting them back onto the FC5 Cleaning with a washing machine: 1. Remove both the rollers from the machine by twisting them off. 2. Place in the washing machine and run on a normal cycle using detergent but no conditioner. (Fabric conditioner must not be used to clean the rollers as this will cause damage to the rollers and replacements will be chargeable.) 3. Once finished, leave to dry.

The two rollers can be removed by twisting them away from the unit. They are colour coded, either blue or green and can be replaced easily. The blue roller must be connected to the blue connection in the machine and the  green roller must be connected to the green connection.

Yes, both the fresh and dirty water tank can be removed for cleaning. They should be cleaned using clean, warm water to remove any dirt build up.

The rollers on the FC5 are one complete part and you cannot remove the fabric from the plastic roller. If the roller requires replacement then the whole roller should be purchased.
