FAQs

The carpet cleaner has a float in the dirty water tank that is designed to rise with the level of the water. However, if the carpet cleaner is jolted, or there is a large amount of foam in the tank, the float may rise to the top. The rising float will block the suction and the machine will make a high pitched noise.

To return the float to its original position, simply switch the carpet cleaner off, allow it to drop down and then try again.

Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.

Remove the brushbar by removing the 10 screws underneath the machine.

Clear any debris from around the brushbar itself, replace the brushbar retry with the machine reclined.

Switch the machine off and unplug from the wall socket.

Remove the spinscrub brushbar.

Check the spindle on the top of the brushbar.

The spindle should be approximately 1 inch in length and should have flat sides (not rounded).

Remove the dirty water tank, empty and rinse the tank through with warm water to remove any build-up of dirt/debris.

Rinse the filter in the dirty water tank under the tap to remove any dirt/debris.

Re-assemble the tank and lid making sure the lid is fitted correctly.

Check there is suction from the motor, open the door below the water tank where the hose fits in. Switch the carpet cleaner on, then place your hand over the hole to test the suction.

Check there is nothing blocking the hose, then refit the hose.

Remove and fill the clean water tank.

Hold the clean water tank over the sink and press the valve at the bottom of the tank.

Re-fit the clean water tank back on the machine and try again.

If there is still no water releasing from the hose, fill the water tank.

Switch the machine on.

Using a pencil, press the valve on the front of the machine where the small water tube (attached to the hose) would normally connect.

Re-fit the hose and ensure it is correctly in place.
